In other news, there is a EVA prequil movie, summary, and sequil movie coming out.
"According to the October issue of Newtype (Japan) (On sale September 10), four new Evangelion movies are in the works. The four movies will include a prequel, a mid-series movie, a sequel and a "final" movie. The prequel movie is due out early summer 2007.
While the new story will be set during the same time frame as the original TV series, Newtype states that it will be an entirely new project, not be a remake or improvement of any sort. Newtype also mentions that viewers will not need to have already seen previous Evangelion material in order to understand and enjoy the new movies.
Hideaki Anno will write the scenario for the first movie and will be the general director and manager for the entire project. Kazuya Tsurumaki will direct the movies while Yoshiyuki Sadamoto will provide character designs and Ikuto Yamashita will provide mechanical designs. Shinji Higuchi will provide storyboards for the first movie.
Khara, a new studio that shares office space with Gainax, was recently set up and is seeking production staff to work on Anno's new project."

Two weeks ago sycamore bought eastern research, the company my dad works for. apparantly they are in the same industry, and E.R. is finishing up a product that sycamore was beginning to develop. so, thats why they were bought. They had a big party, and we now have all these tshirts, mugs, and mousepads that say "welcome to sycamore".
Today, my dad found out that Sycamore is shutting down the Ann Arbor devision as soon as the product is done. So, come january, my dad no longer has a job.
Thank you, corporate america. You save a buck, my dad looses a job. |

ugh what a bad day. i go to work on very little rest (its the fucking sunday shift again) and when i come in we are in the middle of server migration! fun! >:[ this means servers fuck up. Like ice(the server). They jammed a wire into the CPU fan so it overheated, melted, caused MASSIVE i/o problems, and most liekly irrecoverable data corruption. joy. OH yeah, then there is heart. This servers FSTAB was all fucked up so the system was confused and thought all the data was on one drive, instead of 4. It thought it was full so it panicked and crashed. Repeatidly. And then we have ghost. Ghost is confused. It dosnt know right from left. Or what users own what files. Its user database was raped by thirteen gay siberian huskies. Or atleast thats what it looks like. half of the user accounts dont work anymore. I cant wait till i get home, i just know something amazing will happen like my house burned down or something. i just know it...
god dammit its the fucking weekend, id rather it be a monday then this!
i just wanna go to sleep and let this all pass. |

Man this whole work at 7am sundays thing has gotta go. I cant believe ive only been hear a hour and 20 minutes. Soooo boooring ;_;. There isnt anyone to talk to online and ive done all of two help requests. They werent even interesting ones. Someone wanted to know his password and someone else forgot his renewal date. But, i did get a review on friday, and it looks like ill be getting a raise shortly. Which owns :].
This week has been pretty fun. I started "playing" tennis, if you can even call what im doing that. I finally got around to fixing my bike, too. Thursday me and miller went to hookah, which was fun. Then yesterday him and me got shirey, went to don pablos (which is rly good) and then went to hookah again.
Now im sitting here alone in the office at work, really really bored. FFS there isnt even any servers on the monitor with high load!

Ok i love my job. It's so awesome.
Imagine, 8 of your friends, decide hey lets start a company doing things we like to do.
Every single person in the company i get along with. Hell even the owner was making prank calls to the pizza quality assurance line :3
We had another party today. Started off at around noon with some coney island. Good shit. Then back to the office for the standard flair of
super smash brothers, Halo, and guitar hero. We then went back to my house for some ping pong. everyone at work is pretty damn good.
Its nice finally playing against some decent players. Then we went to buffalo wild wings. fuckin awesome. i beat my previous record of 24 wings, with 27 this time. Oh man they were good wings. Gotta break 30 next time.
annnd now i have to get up for work at 7:00 tomorow >.<! oh well monster and some good movies to watch will fix that up. |
